A small company in Germany wants email on its own domain, a shared calendar, a team chat, video calls and somewhere to put files, and increasingly an AI that can summarise a thread or draft a reply. The usual answer is Microsoft 365 or Google, which means the confidential part of the business lives outside Europe.
xenaxio is the alternative: email, calendar, Rooms, Meetings, files and an AI assistant in one workspace, in a cloud in Germany or on the company's own servers. By default the model is Mistral, served from the EU; on-premise it can run on the customer's own hardware too.
Each company gets its own portal under company.xenaxio.com or its own domain, with its logo and colour, and the installed app carries the company's name. Outlook, Thunderbird and Apple Mail keep working alongside it.
Two repositories, one HTTP API
The platform is a TypeScript monorepo on Fastify and Postgres: the backend-for-frontend, the AI agent, the MCP server, the control plane, the company admin and the operator console. It sits in front of unmodified Stalwart, Matrix and LiveKit servers, and it is the only thing that talks to them.
The web client is a public fork of Bulwark Mail under AGPL-3.0, built as static files. It talks only to the platform's API, holds no mail credentials, and adds its own sign-in, onboarding, workspace admin and the assistant panel.
